Review: The Vampire’s Assistant

MCN Review:  Listen, I didn’t want to see any more teen vampire movies, even if they have a good a cast as this one (Salma Hayek, Patrick Fugit, Frankie Faison, Jessica Carlson and Orlando Jones are among the freaks, and Fugit is terrific as The Snake Boy). But it nips and zips along fairly well, until the climactic magic duel, which has been done better numerous times, including the rip-roarer in The Raven between Price and Boris Karloff. More>>
