*sigh* BATMAN AND ROBIN all over again.

Realistic situations can be twisted to something weird (THE TWILIGHT ZONE; LOST) or unlikely situations can be made as plausible as possible (BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT, CASINO ROYALE) and the show will play well.

THE GREEN HORNET is an unlikely situation that needs to be PLAYED STRAIGHT. It is in no way a comedy. It wasn't a comedy on TV in 1966 and it shouldn't be now.

Columbia, Rogan, et al are going to lose their ass.

What a dramatic, moving story. I had never heard of this short until the Oscars, and kudos to the film-makers.

The thing I've come to dread the most in every god damn Marvel movies is the obligatory Stan Lee cameo. The first ones were fine, but now it simply stops the movie dead so everyone can go "Hey, it's Stan Lee."

I keep waiting to hear that he has passed away so I know the fucking things will finally stop. It's especially galling because he is given too much credit for others' work.

But who knows, maybe if they gave him an Oscar he would stop.
